
Heather Liggett – Spicewood TX
The Watchdog of the Month for February 2010 is Heather Liggett of Spicewood, TX.
Heather is a stay-at-home mother of two sons and her husband owns a small business. She was instrumental in organizing the effort to include American Exceptionalism in Texas social studies curriculum standards now under review by the State Board of Education.
She is a founding member of New Revolution Now, a political action committee based in Austin, that played a huge role in getting conservative activists organized to testify on behalf of American Exceptionalism at the SBOE public hearings in January.
Make no bones about it – Heather is the Top Dog!
