ATLAS EXCLUSIVE: Obama Organizing in High School

January 31, 2010

by Pamela Geller

Obama is using high school children to goose step on the healthcare socialism program.

An Atlas reader, Chuck,  has a student in the eleventh grade in an Ohio High School. Her government class passed out this propaganda recruiting paper so students could sign up as interns for Obama’s Organizing for America (OFA is the former mybarackobama.com site.)

Obama is using our public school system to recruit for his Alinsky-inspired private army. Organizing for America is (and I quote) recruiting in our high schools to “build on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda” …………of national socialism.

The Ohio High School is Perry Local in Massillon, Ohio.

This is incredible. And evil. Suffer the little children — enlisted like SS youth. This is no accident. Obama is poisoning our public school system. He acts as if it’s his own private breeding farm. Once again academic learning  and achievement is hopelessly abandoned, and supplanted by radical leftist activism from the leftwing Alinsky indoctrinators in the perverse public school system.

Children must be advised to expose this ugly propaganda. Children must tell their parents how they are being used and manipulated. Parents, warn your kids. Better yet, home school.

This internship program is geared towards the 2010 elections. Using our kids as their goons. Can you imagine if the Republicans attempted such a fascist stunt?

Mark Steyn and the malevolent genie, or something

More Washington
As Obama sees it, whatever the problem, the solution is more Washington

By Mark Steyn

The world turns.

In Indonesia, the principal of a Muslim boarding school in Tangerang who is accused of impregnating a 15-year-old student says the DNA test will prove that a malevolent genie is the real father.

In New Zealand, a German tourist, Herr Hans Kurt Kubus, has been jailed for attempting to board a plane at Christchurch with 44 live lizards in his underpants.

In Britain, a research team at King’s College, London, has declared that the female “G-spot” does not, in fact, exist.

In France a group of top gynecologists led by M. Sylvain Mimoun has dismissed the findings, and said what do you expect if you ask a group of Englishmen to try to find a woman’s erogenous zone.

But in America Barack Obama is talking.

Talking, talking, talking. He talked for 70 minutes at the State of the Union. No matter how many geckos you shoveled down your briefs, you still lost all feeling in your legs. And still he talked. If you had an erogenous zone before he started, by the end it was undetectable even to Frenchmen. But on he talked. As respected poverty advocate Sen. John Edwards commented, “After the first hour, even my malevolent genie was back in the bottle.”

Equality – the dirty little secret

Tom Pauken endorses Ken Mercer

January 31, 2010

Ken Mercer (l.) and Bill Ames (r.)

Tom Pauken, former Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas and former Reagan Administration official, endorsed Ken Mercer for his re-election to the Texas State Board of Education.

“Ken Mercer is a strong supporter of returning to the teaching of the basics at the elementary and secondary school levels in our Texas schools.  We need to return Ken to the State Board of Education in order to continue this important work!”

Tom Pauken was a key leader in bringing the “Reagan Revolution” to Texas.  The Conservative platform on education that began under Mr. Pauken’s leadership is the same platform that Ken Mercer fights for in Austin!

For example, in 2008 the lobby for the Far Left fought to keep true phonics out of Texas classrooms.

Conservative Ken Mercer kept  his promise and voted for phonics to be required in the new English standards!  This fall, for the first time in thirty years, Texas teachers started implementing full systematic and explicit phonics for the children of Texas!

In 2009,  the political lobby of the Far Left did not want to allow Texas high school students the right to ask honest questions about the theories of evolution and global warming.

Ken Mercer again voted for the Conservative platform.  The children of Texas will have the freedom to raise their hands and ask questions in the science classroom.

And now, in 2010, the Far Left wants to remove Veteran’s Day, Independence Day, the Liberty Bell, and Christmas from our American History books.

Ken Mercer is fighting for true and accurate American History that honors our Founding Fathers, Veterans, and traditions and promotes the benefits of the American Free Enterprise System!

Ken Mercer has stated:

“We must never forget the Conservative values that Ronald Reagan clearly articulated in the 1980′s.

Thank you, Tom Pauken, for bringing those key values to the conservative platform of our Party.  In Texas, the vision of education championed by Reagan and Pauken is becoming a reality!”

What you can do: Post this on your FB, tell your conservative friends about Ken Mercer’s work, write a letter to your local newspaper  supporting him, donate to his campaign. He’s a grassroots candidate and is doing this practically by himself. Thank you! ~ SW

Is President Obama a Socialist?

January 31, 2010

Sibyl West: Look out for that hole in the road! Yes, stating the obvious can get you labeled a kook or an extremist. Deprecating the opponent’s viewpoint is an Alinsky technique, one that his Socialist Dem flunkies have handy for use this year.

By: Ernest Istook

“Do you think President Obama is a socialist?” The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee wants every Republican candidate for Congress this year to be asked that question. Their hope: To brand those who answer “yes” as an extremist or a kook.

But many Americans would readily answer, “Yes.” And who could blame them? Without a doubt, Barack Obama is the most liberal president ever to occupy the White House, and he’s certainly too close to socialism for my comfort level.

But we need to be accurate about such a charge. So when MSNBC’s Ed Schultz asked me on-air if I consider Obama a socialist, I answered, “No, but . . . .” I then labeled Obama a “Social Democrat.” That’s someone who believes government should control businesses, rather than owning them outright, as socialism espouses. It’s an intermediate stage between capitalism and socialism.

It’s also a dangerous philosophy — because it puts us on a slippery slope toward actual socialism.

This week’s Radio Derb

January 31, 2010

Sibyl West: If I missed the news for an entire week I can always just go over to National Review and listen to John Derbyshire on Fridays.  Hearing his insightful and slightly sardonic commentary not only gets me up to speed but makes me laugh.

Listen to John Derbyshire on McDonnell’s reply to the SOTU, how the Reconquista’s faring, the left’s attempt to destroy the FDNY, and much more.
