10:09 AM  Sherry: “There are 500,000 + people here, the crowd is all over the Capitol lawn and backed up to 8th (?) Street.” It’s huge and they’re making history.

EYEWITNESS REPORT - Ken 454

This was a happening the likes of which we haven’t seen since Woodstock. It could not be prepared for, although the committee did all that could humanly be done. A crowd estimated up to 1.5 to 2 million is unprecedented. Not even FOX will acknowledge it until it is verified.

One small example is that Texans were told to gather at the Texas flag. I think that most of the Houston participants and many others gathered at my flag! No matter, we were a joyous, unorganized mob flowing down Pennsylvania Avenue.
I am dog tired, but it was a once in a lifetime event, and Sally and I were part of it. The pictures show the preparation for the march, the crowd toward the Capitol, back down Pennsylvania Avenue, and on the statue in front of the reflecting pool. And they were only one side of the crowd! Was our President aware that something was going on this time?

EYEWITNESS  8:30 PM  Mark L.:

very good, like. went to protest today. there were people from all 50 states. Texas
was the most represented.  no mention in the news here of it. however i was there.
Nancy got me to ken brewer’s apartment. and we headed out taking trains in.we walked to pennsylvania av. corner. this was the start. i found mark who was handing out GOOOH flyers. i took a good size stack and headed back where ken brewer was standing and handed tham out. then the march started down pennsylvania av.. i still had a good stack. i gave half to ken. as people walked by i handed them out. they all went fast, ken’s and mine. It was wild.an awesome mass of people and they kept coming.Washington shut down, the highways shut down. We shut Washington down. i ran the the video all the way. we got to the Capital. i made my way to the four foot cement wall around the Capital.the people were sitting on the wall. i made my way that close. police were on the other side facing us yelling no you can not come in this way. they were being told that the gates were closed keeping us out. They did not want any more people in. There was a lot of room. A few people climbed over the fence and ran into the crowd. after the police went to stop someone else i hopped the fence too. i was in and headed up to the Capital i felt like a rebel. i did it i was now on the inside and ken was somewhere on the outside, oh well, i’m in. other people followed suit all day. this area was filled and still i looked out at the people on the other side of the wall. a sea of people. estimated 1.5 to 2 million.
all of the news is saying 30,000 and similar. Nancy and Will say maybe 100,000. i if
they were there they would know.the news media is downplaying the numbers.ken called me on Wills phone. i waved my cane until she saw it. i climbed the wall and left that area. back on the outside. i relaxed there listening to the speakers from there. at 4pm we headed back to the apt. called nancy and will. they both picked me up. we took trains back. will went on to the house while nancy and i stopped at best buy to get another 8gig. memory chip. i used all of the other one up.

This is the most AWSOME thing I have seen in my lifetime..
This is so great that the American people are waking up and
seeing what those in D.C. have and are doing to this Great
Country of of Ours.. this just proves to me ( what I have been
saying for years) that there is WAY more of US then of THEM!!!
So let’s keep up the good work and 2010 will be a great year!!!

  2. Debbie Brown Says:

We were there and it was amazing. The people were all so inspiring and really hopeful. I pray that we can all find a way not to be ignored. For so long we have been quiet as our country has been altered. It’s time to find the rest of us. I know that many wanted to be in DC. But I am also sure that there are many others who just don’t know what is happening and that it’s time to wake up and speak. We need to find them and find our new candidates. 2010 is coming and we must be ready.

  3. The Progenitor Says:
